Hip Hop has had a huge impact on my life. I went back in history to learn the influences and pioneers of the art. Erykha badu played a huge role to which Hip Hop is now popular culture worldwide and I felt inspired to draw a portrait of him. I chose pen because you cant redo it, forced me to have conviction with each line I drew
