Our daughter Emily is standing on a boardwalk at the Parker River National wildlife Refuge on Plum Island, Massachusetts, looking out toward the Atlantic Ocean in the brilliant morning sunlight. Scrub bushes fill the background as the sea air whips her hairs around her face. This is a drawing using the combination of colored pencils with bristol paper. In this case I used a Strathmore Windpower 100 lb smooth Bristol paper.
