Artwork Description:

One of a glass book series. See more glass books under "Artistic Books". These pieces were done in collaboration with Greg Stone, a professor at Arizona State University. The story: Coming in from the desert the wanderer discovers that the oasis is filled with many beautiful fruits, flowers, and birds. Most beautiful of all is a single golden pomegranate perfect in form and shining-- overripe with seed. The wanderer spreads the seeds through the garden to make the garden perfect; but soon the pomegranate chokes out all else. The pomegranate loses its perfection. The wanderer returns to the desert, hoping to find another Enchanted Garden.
