By choosing the medium of glass panel painting, I embrace thecelebrated traditional arts of the Ketuba, of the 17th Century School of paintingof calligraphy and of the illumination of sacred manuscripts, within a Venetianpied-palette of oils and gilding. I have sought to incorporate techniquesof folk genius in sophisticated compositions that might allow these worksto resonate with some of the emotional power and intellectual lucidityof venerated objects.
