Artwork Description:

This glasswork is created through fusing many layers of shaped transparent colored glasses and frit (crushed glass) that become a solid panel when fired in the kiln. The linework is created on the surface of the cooled panel then re-fired and the drawing becomes one with the glass. The sculptural elements are cast in molds with sand and inclusions. They are then combined with the panel to create a sculptural form. I will be pleased to answer any questions you may have about this artwork.
