Artwork Description:   This leaded stained glass art panel was inspired by Matisse. For Matisse, the platonic relationship between painter and model was a necessity and here it s as though he moves in for a closeup. I was inspired to capture the beautiful nude form in vibrant pink to accentuate the intimacy of the closeup even more. This panel includes 375 hand-cut pieces of 8 different colors and textures of glass. The 2 inch wide oak frame is stained natural.
