Artwork Description:   This leaded stained glass art panel is inspired by Matisse. Matisse is known for his masterful use of color and pattern. I was inspired to bring his colors to life with glass in vibrant orange, red, and of course the focus of the brilliant purple of the robe. For the anemones flowers, I used 90 glass jewels that create a 3D effect when light sparkles throughout the day. This panel includes 250 hand-cut pieces of 16 different colors and textures of glass. The 2 inch wide oak frame is stained natural.
