Artwork Description:

This piece depicting the ballet Giselle is my all-time favorite artwork of those I have made. In over three decades as a glass artist, I feel that this piece is my best. The design was adapted from a very old photograph. The final design, the choice of glasses, and the delicacy of the lines combine in such a way that I am continually captivated when I gaze at this artwork. Giselle is a freehanging stained glass artwork that is currently for sale. The background is composed of three different textured clear glasses. The use of clear textured glass backgrounds is a favorite technique that I employ to cause the artwork's subject to stand out. This piece is framed in a custom made wooden frame.
