Two sheets of copper are cut into wavy strips of varying width, tightly woven together then, with the flame torch, given a mesmerizing multi-colored patina reminiscent of abalone shell or the surface of a soap bubble. This coloration is protected with several layers of an acrylic topcoat. Copper pipe is welded to the back and hangers are included for easy installation. Photography does not adequately convey the delicacy of the colors and how the colors appear to shift and change.
