This mixed media wall assemblage in a box includes a cast crucifix done in perforated plastic, acrylic paint, wood, digital photographs, a mono print, permanent ink, gesso, modeling paste, glue, and acetate. This unique work explores the multiple connections between Leonardo DaVinci as an artist and scientist and his explorations with, ONE - the Camera Obscura, TWO - The Shroud of Turin, THREE - Vitrius Man, and FOUR - Their relationships to the Holy Grail, the Knights Templar and the Knights of the Falcon Circle. My Camera Obscura is not closed, but stares at the viewer in a confrontational illusion. The audience connects with long obscured secrets as their meditations upon the work deepens. Price does not include shipment costs. The idea of working with boxes and suitcases began with me at age seventeen, when I first saw the Duchamp installation, THE ILLUMINATING GAS, at The Philadelphia Museum of Art in Pennsylvania, USA. Duchamp designed his entire work to travel within a suitcase, minus the door of course.
