Artwork Description:
Today, morning, met core artist Rickie Dickerson, from Riverside, with intention to draw, create. And we did. Went two different locations. First too noisy
. but was cool. Mr. Okaybabs, great artist and
gallerist, San Bernardino called, and we had art talk. He gets me interested in calendar, which I wanted to do almost 2 years ago, but got distracted, show schedules and lack of funds. Maybe book cover, if something like that popps up. Best, own book cover
Will see. Then Rickie found this great park on the
map, 5 minutes away. Had shade under great needle trees, baseball playing kids, training and fresh breeze. Yessss, I am getting to the main part. We pulled our chromo colored pencil sets out,
the drawing pad and worked several hours. almost without interruption, on our artworks. I discovered
more visages, you notice, if you look and take your time. Real expressions, of which I recognize now
several. We had also stopped on the way at two art stores, since I was out of white and wanted black
eraser. Got out with six other hues. And if you look, I became hooked on this creamy, touch of yellow
and slightest touch of , and I mean slightest touch, of umber, or red. Hardly noticeable. You see the
areas. Very clearing the view for visages color hue. Also great on other beneath. I will try to upload
sections of visages worked on. Maybe not. Just notice, while checking on typos, that image is actually large enough to see individual visages. I was back at house after five p. m. Feels so humid. Cloudy. Beautiful deep grey hues. And sun had sting. As if Thunderstorm is on the rise. No hammerhead clouds yet. Love thunderstorms for many reasons. Wish.
