Abstraction is music frozen in colors.
To talk about the picture, we must first determine what we see on it. And here, for the critic and for any person considering abstract painting, the first difficulty arises: we cannot say what is shown in the picture, everything is too abstract. Well, if in the intricacies of lines and shapes it is possible to see the outlines of an object or figure, or at least a hint of something specific. But the true abstraction just consists in the fact that it was impossible to find a specific subject from which the artist abstracted. There are paintings with elements of abstraction, they are partially or half abstract, there are subject abstract, when an image of a creature suddenly arises from a combination of spots and geometric shapes, and there are paintings that are completely abstract, in which there is nothing like reality.
