Artwork Description:
REMEMBRANCE WINDOW TO THE HOLOCAUST is the full title of this mixed media work A moment. . . a drop of salt in time. . . a second of the Jewish Holocaust during WWII is examined in this wall relied of wood and glass. I constructed the work from an antique window sitting on the curb in the trash. It was from a South Philadelphia house built in 1896 in the Italian Market neighborhood. I used photographs, adapted digitally and reproduces with computer ink and black and white photo processing. This work relates to my thought that hatred equals HELL. Please note that this assemblage is shipped to the collector in a sturdy cardboard box. The piece is first wrapped in two layers of acid free glassine and then placed between two archival boards. This is next placed into the shipping carton and securely packed with bubble wrap. The Absolute Arts Dot Com price includes all handling costs, shipment supplies, and the coast of the shipment box.
