This etched diptych, created with two zinc etching plates placed on the press bed together, uses the printmaking techniques of intaglio, drypoint, and aquatint. This is an artist’s proof of that etching enhanced with water base media. The work was inspired by an albumin print created in 1865 by Neurdein Freres, The Neurdein Brothers. It hails from the collection Cornell University, A. D. White Architectural Photographs Collection, and combines etching with painting in a unique style. The work ships to the buyer withboth an archival mat and glass frame. The frame size is 16 by 12 inches.
