Artwork Description:

The Pitch Apple Tree Clusia rosea is a striking tropical specimen with aerial, body and ground roots. This is the 4thstudy for the oil painting of the Pitch Apple Tree ID 601666. Study 4 is a chiarscuro interpretation of the light and dark areas of the tree. The light is behind the tree on the right and falls over all the imperfections in the bark creating deep shadows. The image has a double mat, gold frame with heavy duty clear acrylic glazing. Framed size is 11 X 14 W.
