Artwork Description:
This image is one of a set of three and incorporates a two print process. A duratrans print is laid over an opaque print of the same image. The two prints have alternate contrast and color characteristics: which creates a depth. The two prints are then placed askew ( malaligned ) to create a swirling pattern and a sense of motion. As John Kazar Asare had been known as one of the top professional optical photographic printers of the 1990,s he did experiment with alternative and sometimes unique printing techniques. This Image along with the other two in this series was exhibited in the Urban Hillbillies group show: 1700 Alton Road, Miami Art Fair 2003. Other artists in this show: Kara Blossom and Don Shearer.
