Artwork Description:

This mixed media piece incorporates a number of found elements including old maps, a stamped and postmarked envelope, material from a billboard, a monotype, illustration from a 1950's biology book,old cardboard, Color-Aid paper,and gouache. The piece is on museum board, and is framed, under glass, in a black metal frame. It is matted with white museum board, and the artwork is recessed, shadow-box format, one quarter inch from the glass.
