Artwork Description:
It is a reproduction of the original Gypsy Girl as known as Mother Nature too which is based on a temple Zeugma in Gaziantep, Turkey. It also represents Gaia in Greek mythology. The original mosaic was made in 200 A. C. My painting was made with hemp rope mixed with plaster which I hand-carved and then coloured acrylic paint. It is finished with water-based matte varnish.
