Artists Describing Their Art:
Evgeniy Rodionov - I was born in 1980. I live and create in Vologda, Russia. In the past he received an architectural education and worked as an architect for 10 years. Now Im only engaged in visual arts. The direction in which I work, I define as Rodionovskaya painting. This is a unique combination of Russian folk pictures, medieval miniatures, comics, posters, as well as my childhood memories, passions and hobbies. In my work I use tempera and acrylic. Paintings I write on canvases, and various wooden surfaces. In parallel I create painted wooden sculptures in the same style of Rodionovskaya painting. ...
Alexander Hinovsi - My art is inspired by different aspects of our lives. It is connected with the nature, living beings, psychology, spirituality, cosmology and certain philosophical views. I am interested in different areas of art, that is why as an artist I try to use different techniques related to it. I am strongly influenced by surrealism, symbolism, post-impressionism, secession. I am also interested in installation art and I already have works on this subject. I mainly work in the field of painting, but sometimes I do graphic and decorative art. For me the art is a ray of light. The light, which we the artists express to share it with the other people. The light, that we realize to express our ideas. What would a persons life look like without art The art makes us feel happy, sad, empathetic. It exalted and recharges us. The art is light, a reflector for man, helping him to move beyond his everyday life, to break this reality into something different, interesting and inspiring. ...
