Summer Bridge - A landscape impressionism painting by Chris Quinlan Art, Irish artist, oil paint on canvas, Original oil painting. This is another impression of the woods near where I grew up, The summers seemed endless. The woods were alive that summer. with colour sprayed amidst the trees this particular part of the forest was plated only a couple of years prior and the foliage was swaying in the gentle summer breeze. The bridge was old and humped and was the fastest way for me and my carefree friends to dash home for our lunch. If I had the same interest in nature back then as I do now, there would be no time for building forts, climbing the highest trees and exploring the broken, dangerous ruins of the old graveyard and black castle.
