This work was inspired by the painting Water Snakes and Danae by Gustave Klimt.
Belladonna is an oil painting on canvas and is part of the Anima series of paintings. As the title suggests Belladonna is a portrayal of female beauty whose features are idealized, but like the flower with the same name, its beauty can be a poison or a cure. Soo, like a flower whose beauty we distinguish and appreciate by the colors of the petals or the shape of the leaves, Belladonna is a painting in which I depicted the concept of beauty as a personification of a soft face woman with full lips, green-blue eyes, surrounded by curly blond hair that surrounds the vermilion dress with naturals decorations, and it dissipates in the background decorated with various shapes and motifs.
The series of paintings Anima outlines the nature of Animus feminine aspiration, which is the personification of the most desired woman: The unreachable feminine ideal.
