“Joes’ Wall” is an oil on canvas painting of Joe Crow. Joe is homeless and he lives on the streets of Winchester. Joe is one of the most gentle guys that I have ever encountered. He lives every second of his life and every second of his life is full of fear, anxiety, joy and hope.
I wanted the painting to shout and scream at those in power who do not help the homeless and who are happy for the homeless to be invisible, to fade away.
Joe fades into the graffiti yet his smile, his hope dominate the picture as they do in real life.
The painting will be delivered professionally in a hand crafted frame together with a signed certificate of authenticity. The painting will be tracked and insured during delivery.
