Before I picked up the brush, I spent 30 years researching the nature of color and light, through my profession as a doctor of physics, and one of the inventors of a new science - laser and non-linear optics. At 53 years of age, I left the world of science and became a free artist.
Using this understand of color and light allowed me to create a world of art with surprising color spots, contrasts, and reflections. My paintings are textured. This style can be interpreted as Lyrical Impressionism.
