Aisha Haider - Welcome to my gallery. I was born in Lancashire in England. I am a self taught artist and have been painting ever since I can remember. I paint in acrylics because of its versatility. Painting has always been a strong part of my life and it is who I am. Painting is an unquechable addiction that I get immense pleasure out of. I paint in an impressionistic style using a little bit of inspiration that comes from nature whilst adding my own elements too. My painting are mostly vibrant and modern. My favourite subjects are umbrellas, reflections and trees. I am very fortunate to have sold over 500 paintings in the Uk and 5 other countries. I hope you enjoy looking at my work and find something to your taste. aEURoeAs music is the poetry of sound, so is painting the poetry of sightaEUR James McNeil Whistler...

George Grant - In his works George Grim tries to mold invisible ideas into visible forms. Merging of the invisible and visible in surreal themes and objects, or in coded geometrical shapes in his art is the way he establishes the purpose of breaking through the conventional perception of material life, into the dream world of human subconscious, where the infinite universes are hidden. So the objects and beings in his works are often appearing as symbols pointing to that which can hardly be talked about by words, allowing the viewer to get the hunch on deeper non-verbal level....

Smita Biswas - I am an entrepreneur turned artist. A self taught artist. I strongly feel that art doesnt require any institutional degree or training. We just need to profoundly connect with our innermost self. Art for me is a truly metaphysical activity in this materialistic world. Most of my art work touches the subject of contemporary abstract art....

Smita Biswas - Brikena Berdo - I cannot say what really led me to painting. I guess it is related to that inner desire which has made me express myself in this visual language. But what has mostly marked my art and driven me towards endless research is composed of notions such as the sense of time, childhood, human psychology and nature. I think, for some artists, it is true that what they have sought for in their art is something they have missed during their own life, a lack of anything from the real world of ours. I grew up in a aEURoegrey countryaEUR. I lived under a dictatorial regime until the 90aEURtms, which was followed by a transit period of destruction. Hence, so little has been inherited by the previous system. As a result what I perceived of those times came in colourlessly, greyish and meaninglessly in all aspects. It did not make sense at all. The absence of colours led to a hungriness and craving for greens and blues and yellows etc. This thirst for colours found expression later greatly and strongly in my paintings. I love colours and they are important, sometimes more than shape. I like to impose myself through ...
