Charo Noriega - Art is a way of living, art a way of seeing, a way of finding unexpected things...art is my only urgency at each moment of my life...but Art,(as well as Fate) vanishes when people hear their own name and grow in stature when no one is chasing them behind... ...
Linda Paul - Artists Statement" When asked 'What is your favorite painting', I always say, 'the next one I am going to paint!" Style: I don't paint in any one style, I let inspiration speak to me and I go with the flow. My work runs the gamut from chunky realism to abstract and impressionist painting. I use many different mediums to create my artworks. One of my favorites is egg tempera which I make by crushing stones and minerals and adding egg yolk. Blues come from crushed lapis lazuli, greens from malachite and natural green earth found around Verona Italy. I even use minerals found during hikes in the Rocky Mountains. I am captivated not only by the purity and naturalness of this medium, but by the science of it. Each pigment has its own set of properties and capabilities that must be explored. How better to express visions of the earth than with earth itself. This medium is luminous and lasts for centuries. also make my own acrylic paint in the same manner. By adding pure pigment to a acrylic polymer. I can add thing like crushed mica and pearlescents to make the painting come alive. Lately I have also ...

Luis Guillermo Ramírez Ezquerra - Luis RE. Artist statment. Versus: sobre Borderline borderline [boer-der-lain] s. Limite, orilla, frontera.- a. Incierto, dudoso. Heriberto Luna - By embellishing pre -Columbian imagery with contemporary and personal elements, I strive to embody the intersection of Mexico's history, in all its depth and beauty, with the lived contexts of my era. I ground my work in Mayan iconography, using richly textured backgrounds and a chromatically satisfying palette of complimentary colors to draw viewers into the world of the painting. The life of each painting, however, is concentrated in the figure's eyes, as if the spirit of the heritage that inhabits me looks back from the world behind the canvas ...
Jacquie Vaux - My goal as an artist, is to present a beautiful veiw of wildlife in the form of fine art paintings.I strive to show the vivid colors and patterns in the most appealing compositions. I also demonstrate natural behavior and some element of habitat that most beautifully presents this subject manner in the most visually exciting format. I respect and appreciate the wildlife I depict in my paintings. I study and work on improving my technical expertise. This is a never ending process which I address on a daily basis. I have a strong work ethic which allows me to stay focused in order to complete large complex works. I look forward to painting larger paintings of big animals such as elephants, giraffes and cape buffaloes. I am also eager to paint more botanical and floral paintings. ...
Biser Panayotov - Biser Ivanov Panayotov's richly imaginative canvasses are filled with delicate but bold shapes and colors. The images evoke organisms, landscapes, and objects with their graceful curves and elaborate detail. The subtle tones of rich red and orange, watery blue and sunlight yellow indicate a fantasy world. His work is mystical, recalling experience rather than intellectually laden and symbolic, leaving the viewers free to compose their own meaning based on sensual interpretation. He concerns himself more with the interaction of different patterns than clearly definable foreground and background to create space and depth in his paintings. Panayotov was born and continues to live and work in Ruse, Bulgaria. He studied with the famous Ruse artist Kiril Stanchev. His first work was exhibited in a Youth Show in 1988 in Ruse and has continued to exhibit work consistently since. His paintings are in private collections across Europe, Canada and the United States ...
