For your information I've lived in 8 different countries and have been around the world 5 times. I speak a few different languages, some very well; others not so well. By the way I am not a workaholic as I don't consider what I do work. I enjoy life too much. I forgot to say I am also a weight lifter as lifting weights is my Zen. When I am troubled the concentration it takes to lift makes me calm. I guess my page will probably be a little different from what people expect. Sorry I have not been uploading new work as ...
Tatyana Leksikova - Painting is something I really love to do. Now it is the most important part of my life. I love colors, enjoy playing with them, mixing them, putting them together. I feel them like music. And the main thing I would like to express in my work is that the life is full of the beautiful moments. I hope people enjoy my paintings as much as I do creating them. ...
Martha Johnson - Photography spoke to me as an art form when I took a basic photography class while working toward a Bachelor of Fine Art in painting. I liked the endless possibilities of technique that are available when capturing light images. I changed my emphasis to photography and started to explore basic black and white images. I explored alternative processes such as posterization with internegs and color filter packs and liquid emulsion on handmade surfaces. For as long as I can remember I've loved looking at the sky - day and night. My location and my love for clouds led me to try my vision of sunset and storm images. The play of light and shadow from the clouds racing across the sky are a challenge to capture in a way no one's seen before....
Jacquie Vaux - My goal as an artist, is to present a beautiful veiw of wildlife in the form of fine art paintings.I strive to show the vivid colors and patterns in the most appealing compositions. I also demonstrate natural behavior and some element of habitat that most beautifully presents this subject manner in the most visually exciting format. I respect and appreciate the wildlife I depict in my paintings. I study and work on improving my technical expertise. This is a never ending process which I address on a daily basis. I have a strong work ethic which allows me to stay focused in order to complete large complex works. I look forward to painting larger paintings of big animals such as elephants, giraffes and cape buffaloes. I am also eager to paint more botanical and floral paintings. ...

Bé Van Der Heide - Artist Statement I do work mostly in series. The images shown in my portfolio are examples of different series all executed over the last ten years. Some of the latest series such as "Dance of the transient forms" and "Collapse" have recently been exhibited in the Mas Poch Gallery in Spain. The most extensive series is called the "ENFANT TERRIBLE" series. These are drawings and paintings, mostly of a little girl and her family and friends. The rather menacing images of a seemingly helpless frightened little girl, being held tight or prettied up with bows in her hair, are inspired by photographs in my family album. In these drawings I am not interested in a photographic likeness, but I try to express a feeling about these people in the pictures. Part of the series were shown in the LCP Gallery in London during summer 2002 and in the Mas Poch Gallery in Spain November 2003. The series before "Enfant Terrible" is called: "WEBS", inspired by the sight of insects, leaves, dried up larvae; all caught in a Spiders web underneath a box on top of one of my work tables in the studio. They have been considerably enlarged; some paintings...
Katalin Luczay - Painting to me is an expression, interpretation, and appreciation of the world around me. In my opinion any art should inspire and elevate the human spirit. These types of art works are immortal, such as the works of the old masters. In my paintings I strive to achieve these ideals. I would describe my works as related as representational realism. In my seascapes I bring many different colors together to illustrate the movement of water. In my landscapes and still life works I like to emphasize the play of light as it hits a focal point. I like to paint in oil because I can achieve this sense of light and motion by glazing over layers, as well as in oil I can achieve a richness that I find limiting in other mediums.
