Claire Petit - In my work, beings of dream and intimacy migrate slowly to the merry-go-round of birth, death, and rebrith. Different periods and series rub shoulders in my decades of paintings. Duality breathes deeply, and from one life to the next, powerful feminine energy dominates moving, introspective, multiple, often wrapped in a gentle violence. Since 1989, I have been traveling and working between France and the United States. I had my first solo show in 1999 at the 24 Gallery in New York City. In 2004 my work was represented and exhibited at the Grant Gallery. In 2005 I left for Mexico, where I maintained a studio for three months in Oaxaca. From 2005 to 2010, my work was represented and exhibited by the Opera Gallery in New York City. During those years I regularly painted in New York. Since 2010 my work has been exhibited in Paris, Brussels, Luxembourg Metz. My studio is in Nancy, where I live. Pramod Apet - My name is Pramod Apet and I believe myself to be a very expressive person. I realized it very early in my life that painting was something that made me happy. It was actually me and therefore wen I decided to take painting as a career, I joined Abhinavkala Mahavidyala in Pune which is where I learnt the basics of my profession. After that I joined the very well known J. J. School of Arts in Mumbai, where I was groomed and that was the time when I transformed into an Artist. I love to spread happiness with my paintings and believe that if we set a happy atmosphere around us, it can be done through beautiful paintings. In my works, one can generally find jolly, loving and happy kids. Specially, the Brahmin boys that were seen during the traditional educational system of our Indian people, i.e., Gurukul system, could be generally seen through my works. I have relied on using acrylic colors in my art forms which help me in depicting the various expressions of my subjects very effectively. With the help of these, I have been able to show the kids in various acts of life, showing ...

Amit Bar - In 1950 I was born in Kibbutz Kfar Hamaccabi, Israel, where I lived until 1988. As a kibbutz-member I was not able to take a complete study at an art-college. Therefore I followed evening-lessons drawing for many years. In 1984 I finally got the permission to study creative art at the university. My study at the university of Haifa was combined with Comparative Literature and took three years. I have learned there a lot about various forms of Creative Art. As follows, I decided to dedicate my interest on photography. My final project was children photography. Since 1988 I live in Doetinchem, The Netherlands, and work as a freelance-photographer and painter. In my commercial work I take photographs for a stock agency and make commissioned work. Wishing to combine my photography with drawing and painting, I began to mix them in my artistic work. It began in 1992 with photo collages and took another form in 1996 with body-paintings. Thank you very much for your visit. I wish you lots of pleasure on my gallery and my site, at www.amitbar.com! Amit Bar....

Kyle Johnston - i have been utilizing mixed media collage as format for the last twenty years. theme and subject are generally allowed to develop themselves as works progress. rarely do i pursue a work limited to a specific idea other than structure and material usage. collage as medium allows me to set moods and feeling within each work and develop subject independently of that point.the conveyance of subject as well as a formulation of emotion and spirit is a priority to me in my work.i feel my overall technique is basic and my goal is to create works that are of interest artistically and compelling in nature....

Richard Wynne - Richard is an acclaimed International Artist recently returned to the USA. Richard has lived in many Countries. "The last being Thailland. Mr Wynne has exhibited in Thailand, the United States, Spain, Argentina, Kuwait, Korea, Ihdia, and other Countries. Sometimes perhaps I say too much about my self but maybe it helps people understand what motivates my work. For your information I've lived in 8 different countries and have been around the world 5 times. I speak a few different languages, some very well; others not so well. By the way I am not a workaholic as I don't consider what I do work. I enjoy life too much. I forgot to say I am also a weight lifter as lifting weights is my Zen. When I am troubled the concentration it takes to lift makes me calm. I guess my page will probably be a little different from what people expect. Sorry I have not been uploading new work as ...

Barry Boobis - Musical Visions is a body of work devoted to all themes of Music. These themes traverse the worlds of jazz, dance, rock, nature, spirit, and beyond. These musical themes are explored in the universes of realism and abstract, often combining both at a level of Spirit. Having practiced Zen meditation I see all mediums of art as One, which is derived from the ancient Buddhist scriptures. My Greatgrandfather wrote the "Hatikvah," national anthem of Israel, and my father was a jazz piano player, as well as a commercial artist, so the genetic splicing is readily obvious. The heritage of music, as well as art and spirit informs the work, and I offer it as a form of celebration of heightened sensibility. Joyousness, rapture, and expression, not just existence! As artist- in- residence at the Bluenote jazz club in NYC, and a participant in the Newport Jazz Festival and the Saratoga Jazz Festival for many years, I have had the great opportunity to bring this work to lovers of music as well as art throughout the Eastern Seabord of the USA. I now welcome the opportunity to bring it to the world- at- large through absolutearts.com. Please celebrate with me! ...

Animesh Roy - "I don't pretend that I paint because I want to say something or convey a message. So, please don't read any hidden meanings into my paintings. I paint because I like to portray the happier side of life -- beautiful landscapes, for example -- because I think that there are enough artists painting the morbid side." "I love to travel because that's where the so-called inspiration comes, so I hope to travel more, paint and be generally happy." -- Excerpt from an interview....

Anindya Roy - Here you can see a brief about my painting , my bio- data, and some recent paintings.A BRIEF INTRODUCTION TO MY RECENT PAINTINGS During the period of training my works were mostly the reflectionof the city life, the aspiration and dreams of the urban middle class living in a molt-cultural and multi-lingual society. Those days I crated the works like ' back to the city', 'nagorik' etc., by mixed media. To develop the concept I have been traveling historical, and culturally significant places and try to conceptualize the togetherness of living and non-living objects and a sense of mystery. Things and particular colour encompassed me, thus my creative mind and feelings is blend. Through I have social, ritual relation with my surroundings, I would like to search there hidden relations of mine in my works. It is known there a relation among the living and non- living beings in nature. I saw a rhythm with the costume, ornaments, happiness, sorrow and habits of the rural people, I is wonderful to me when I inhale those things then, I express my feelings of love through my visual art work. Some times ' composition ' starts from my dream, which leads to ...

Valerie Hoffmann - ARTIST'S STATEMENT: "Having a traditional art background and trained in the exacting disciplines of architectural design, I strive to explore new freedoms in interpreting form in terms of the organic shapes and elements found in nature. I prefer to use paint in a manner which best reflects the tapestry of the many textures exhibited in the earth's landscape. I apply color as a means to unite these features and to show relationships between the vividness and subtleties expressed in every part of our environment, and yet attain visual harmony." ...
