Seidai Tamura - I dedicate my life to realism, a representational rendition in oil. I am specialized in female nude works. Recently, Ive diverged into an erotic genre along with traditional, academic nudes. Due to controversial contents, I am not able to show my erotic pieces. Please message me, if you are interested to see my erotic works. They sell fast among collectors, but some are still available for purchase. Theodore Kennett Raj - About Theodore As a visual artist I follow my own muse. My visual narrative paintings and pen drawings reflect fanciful subjects and situations depicted with explosions of colour and textures. Born in Maduria India, I have a very exuberant colour sense which reflects the origins of my country of birth. In 1974 I studied design and art at Shillito design school in Sydney, NSW. I have spent most of my working life in the fashion industry . Previously I have exhibited my work at eca bar in Darlinghurst, Sydney, NSW which atrracted enthusiastic commentry from the fusion of creative locals of the area. In 2007 I was invited to join a group exhibition at Tap gallery in Sydney which was received with great enthusiasm. I relocated to to the northen rivers region of NSW. This move has given me a new freedom to to visualise and create new colours and shapes which excites me and gives me new sense of experimentation bringing new movement and life into my work. since march 2012 i have been exhibiting at the Channon gallery ,in the beautiful hamlet of channon N.S.W.Australia.the new body of works i have created useig acrylic and ...

Younhee Yang - "My goal always was to make people wonder, to remind them, and to have them ask themselves questions." The development of my topics required me to move away from only painting and include the third dimension into my artistic work. I am planning more public works connected to space, such as installations, or time, such as contemporary Art Video. I want to explore the reactions of the passer-by and the impact that the messages of my work may have on them. Unfortunately, temporary installations are very fleeting and only the pictures as documentation stay. That is why I also plan to start working with sculptures, which are much more permanent. I also want to explore more about how Germany with its people and its contemporary art dealt with the separation and subsequent reunification. One of my interests here is about what problems and scars still have to be overcome. I will further develop those ideas. My current projects revolve around the exploration of humankind itself: human behavior, feelings, and mind. My artwork is all interconnected, be it painting, installation, or video-art. In the future I hope to completely intertwine these different modes of art and use them all...

Valerie Hoffmann - ARTIST'S STATEMENT: "Having a traditional art background and trained in the exacting disciplines of architectural design, I strive to explore new freedoms in interpreting form in terms of the organic shapes and elements found in nature. I prefer to use paint in a manner which best reflects the tapestry of the many textures exhibited in the earth's landscape. I apply color as a means to unite these features and to show relationships between the vividness and subtleties expressed in every part of our environment, and yet attain visual harmony." ...

Larsen Lena - At the vanity, chasing the dream that is often just a mirage, tired with stress and permanent search, at the stream of rushing days and years we sometimes stand motionless for a while seeing something beautiful: open flower, spring dusk, the picture that suddenly attracted our attention. It is possible that such abstractions and revelations are the main meaning of art. After all, the artist's brush can really fix the time, place, and mood, and capture for a moment our mind, tossing between past and future, and thus awake our feelings and thoughts......

Eric Korbly - Artist Statement INFINITY The night sky has been a constant source of inspiration for me since childhood. The notion of the endless expanse and the mystery of the unknown coupled with the infinite possibilities that the universe holds has captured my imagination on a creative and intellectual level. "Infinity" is my first major series of works developed since my series of paintings titled "Oil Well Fires" produced while earning my B.A. in Art from California State University at Humboldt in 2006. Consisting of oil on canvas, Infinity explores a visual interpretation of "events" in space, drawing from my youthful imagination and ongoing interest in all things scientific as well as my formal training as a painter from a contemporary perspective. What this series conveys is an abstraction of a limitless reality. The compositions are comprised of explosions of color and form and movement of light. The darkest pool of black space are speckled with fragments of light-filled stars. They are a representation of my connection to and reverence for the great mysteries of the universe. Sheila Fraga - Woman figure is the main theme of this exhibition entitled "Hope." Woman body has been an inspirational and interest motive for many artists in the Art History. I had intended to take this concept in order to reflect not only the woman beauty and sensuality but also to incorporate my own living experiences within the history frame that my generation had lived. I would like to establish a dialogue between the audience and my paintings to provoke controversy and interest toward concepts of identity, spirituality and love. Characters portray feelings of love, defiance, meditation, hope, and encourage the spectator to dream. Nudity is not used to identify woman figure as a sex symbol but a bearer of feelings, spirituality, expressiveness and determination to pursue happiness and new ideas in the social scenario. The use of celestial settings depicted In the skies and clouds are implemented to reflect spirituality and its interaction with daily life. Techniques such as oil, pastel and cut-out are present in my paintings and drawings as a mean to transmit emotions and expressiveness. It's creativity that strives me to seek new ways of expression to materialize my work. To create multiple scenarios with the only...

Darla Fisher Odjig - 7th. World Aboriginal Image Maker Vision: the belief that symbology will be a huge part of the art. That all may project a uniqueness of their Indianess through this. I promote the essence of my culture through the educating of Cultural diversity & visions through symbols. The sharing through symbology/pictorial imaging precipitates a phenomenon of altruism and healing. Guidance through mind, heart, body and spirit is essential to envisioning a holistic sense of self. In reference to Creative Extraction, expression toward the enhancing of emotion and identification of authentic values and feelings enable release and validation. Building of inner strength and outer relationships are important to communicating who we are. Reflecting on shadow imaging and of internal elements will allow for visioning and creative connectedness. Our Community includes the participating of connecting with the public through the art and its symbolic representation regarding the intergenerational affect as illustrated by symbolic historical referencing and recording. The developing of inner creativity through outer expression allows a sense of identity and connecting of 2 worlds within. Integrating Aboriginal artistic mastery with Western/European mastery as a recognized fine artistry brings a unified and elegant fusion of a unique vision of true Canadian Fine ...

Lynn Rupe - "EXPECT DELAYS" URBAN HABITAT Some background on these paintings... The gorillas, lions, rhinos, narwhals, warthogs that inhabit these paintings are passing through the "urban jungle". They show up as very unusual pedestrians on very busy streets or perhaps they are stranded on a bit of grass or water in an otherwise completely hardened, urban situation. Sure, there are animals that can thrive in cities with humans - the pigeons, the rats, the dogs and the cats. And of course there is the stray moose or two that wanders down Main Street. Most wild animals, though, have crawled far away from humans to find some peace and refuge in remnants of forests and swamps. It is absurd to believe that these minuscule islands of habitat are adequate homes for wild animals. On these canvases I depict my fantasies of animals appearing in cities. Cities will be what is left for them so they had just better adapt! ...and there they are--calmly crossing the downtown streets. So I guess we had better expect a few traffic jams and a few delays! Ha! Note: The rhinos, elephants and gorillas that frequent my paintings can be easily identified but I'm not sure most...
