Situated in the city of Turku in south-west Finland, this beautiful stone cathedral was painted here using acrylic paints on a stretched canvas. Shown here on on a bright sunny day, the artist says that the most difficult part of this painting was capturing what looks like a shadow within a shadow around the door area of the cathedral. He is very happy with his result, although he admits that it is hard to see this effect flourish in the digital reproduction.
