The Rapa-Nui Exclusive Selection. Seleccin Esclusiva del Isla de Pascu. Easter Island Exclusive Selection. Claudio A. Batista Diaz from Chile, who is born on Easter Island and director Torben Cornelius have encouraged me to make a Rapa-Nui Exclusive Selection. On 22 May 2003 we had a fruitful conversation about the island and especially the Rapa-Nui culture, legends and mythology. Thanks to Claudio and Torben. My further studies have been based on Claudio's recommendations and the keywords we derived from our conversation. This art work is inspired from the mythology about the round world as a belly and the lonely island as a navel - in the middle of the Pacific Ocean and from wondering.
