Artwork Description:

This is a richly colored acrylic painting on Yupo synthetic paper. The woman has spilled her glass of milk and it is pouring out by her knee. The painting began with a long face marked with red streaks and grew into the full image as I followed the suggestions found in the flow of the paint. It has a good deal of texture and a glossy surface. There are expressive distortions to the figure as it tells its story, perhaps of a woman whose head injury has caused her to lose her grip on the milk and maybe even on her life. There is lots of room for interpretation in this one. The painting does not need to me matted, nor does it need glass. It is as durable as a painting on canvas. My preference is a wide frame without glass or mat. Winner of Special Merit award in Light Space and Time 555 exhibition 2018
