Statement on the blurred line between actual culture and borrowed culture that becomes prevalent when American Indians lose valuable elements of what makes us who we are. Cherokees no more wore war bonnets than we wore indian corn headdresses. This is a statement on the absurdity of borrowing a cultural element that doesn't belong just to replace an element that has been lost.
