On the Mogillon Rim of Arizona are these incredible Alligator Junipers. They are phoenix-like. In the center of them is a dead, burnt stiff tree for a spine onto which they grow these massive structures. You want to see an awesome tree? Go into the mountains around Flagstaff, Arizona, and view the massive Alligator Junipers ruling the mountain sides. Soluvar varnish tops off the painting for preservation and the edges are painted in black to give the painting a finished look without framing.
