Artwork Description:
As you may have quessed by now, I love trees. And although I root for every tree no pun intended to stay alive, I have to confess that I find few things more beautiful than a dead tree still standing. In a local community called Indian Hill, right where two creeks join, there are a number of such trees standing like sentinals at the creek edge, having been killed by high water but not yet vanquished. The painting is topped with Soluvar varnish for protection and the edges painted with textured antique gold.
