Artwork Description:
SOLD. There must be a billion spots along US roadways where in the middle of winter you look off to the side of the road and are vacuumed right into the magical pillared trees exposed by a snow-covered ground as if uncovered from some hidden, secret place. And then among them, if you are lucky, you will see a half-hidden deer looking back at you. The painting is covered with Soluvar varnish for protection and its stretcher bars are reinforced with an oak plank to prevent warping. A frame would be fine, but the edges are painted with a richly textured antique gold, rendering a frame unnecessary.
