Artwork Description:

Kokopelli is to the left in this painting, and in myth dates back 3000 years. He was the harbinger of fertility relating to marriage and agriculture. His flute playing chased away winter and brought about spring. He was also considered a trickster, for what reason I do not know. The contemporary figures, while retaining some of their original meanings, have changed over time.
