GREY HORSEOriginal oil on canvas painting, highly elaborated piece, very attentively paintedMystical grey horse is coming from a fairy tale. This horse is walking proudly towards her dream. This horse is kind, wise and free, she is following her way. This grey horse is very special and dear to me and it has a long story. From my childhood I have a special passion for horses and I love to draw them from my early age. This painting story is connected to my grandfathers life. As a child I was very impressed by an amazing life story of my grandfather. He was an engineer and inventor and he was a very talented and extraordinary person much of a self taught as well. Unfortunately, I have never met him as he passed away before I was born. But I was many times told his story... his family was living near Baikal lake and had many horses. He had his own amazing dapple grey horse. He loved her a lot, but he had to leave his little place and to go to study to Moscow to the university. He went there by foot walking for many days, while his horse stayed home. I was so impressed by this story, so I imagined many time this beautiful dapple grey horse. In my head I have an image of a graceful horse walking nicely. This image is inserted deeply in my mind and I want to paint again and again this same horse proudly and gracefully walking. This painting has amazing shades of grey. It is very neatly elaborated with attentive smears of paint. This painting has calm colours and amazing thin lines. I think the photo does not make justice to this beautiful piece of art. I imagine this artwork looking perfectly in a nicely decorated calm coloured interior. The painting is signed on the front. It is covered with a layer of varnish that will protect the painting from the sun light and dust. The painting is sold unframed. You will need to stretch it. I will pack carefully the canvas and will ship it in a tube, which will safeguard the painting until it reaches your destination. I will include insurance and authenticity certificate. Please keep in mind that the colours could differ depending on computer monitor. The paintings usually do look better in person because a photo cant show all the amazing details.
