It seems to me that this is exactly what happened in the picture. Shyness, slight fear, indecision and uncertainty. I like it when I manage to convey the state of the model. This is very rare. It worked out. I painted this picture, like all my other paintings using completely traditional methods. With the help of oil paints, canvas and his hands.
