This is a painting I have done of two racehorses in a finish. I love horses and rode in steeplechases myself. I think the colour and galmour of a racecourse is wonderful and although i hope all the horse lovers will appreciate my work as one has to know about horses to paint them I would love to think that this is a painting that can be enjoyed even if you don't particularly like horses. Don't we all love Degas washerwomen ironing !
