My daughter, Sara, a photographer, took the picture of Black Mesa. My wife loved it and wanted me to paint it for her. Leery of painting a landscape, as I had no experience, my wife kept telling me, You can do it. I used oil paints, canvas and a tiny brush with almost no bristles.
