Artwork Description:

This is the 2nd half of the diptych that I describe in the first panel. The two are identical--one is turned upside down. The composition is based on the fascinating tropical gourd plant momordica charantia , growing in my garden. During the four months I worked on the canvases, visitors to my studio gave valuable opinions on their progress. My work is planned to last a hundred years.
