Artwork Description:

The image on my father's store window (a building which no longer exists: 202 S. Broad St., Trenton, New Jersey)which won 2nd prize in 1951 for the 11th grade division of the high school Halloween art competition on retail store windows in the city. Brodner was my grandfather's name, and he owned the building (we lived in an apartment on the upper floors). This was one of those early images (I was 8 years old) that stuck with me and probably contributed to my becoming an artist.
