uploaded Nov. 23,2013-- do not have many of my older art works left�this is one of them�endured many travels�for sentimental reasons.. and because I very much like it, kept in my 'keeper' collection��.. .. panted this oil painting in 1975 when I was for several weeks in Izmir, Turkey� is on canvas sheet.. and heavy textured.. then.. I painted mostly in oils�several hues on brush.. and each once on canvas expressed beautifully individually yet as 'one'...... ran out of white.. and used my tooth paste.. which served me well for mixing.. and softer whites�now.. after 38 years, still enchants my eyes.. the abundance of blooming fruit trees.. the scent.. beauty is in pleasant recall...
