Artwork Description:
.... a friend brought two sawblades into the Art Associastion in Fontana, Ca., with the statement that she wanted to paint those for clocks.. that is why the little hole is in the middle.. but she could not do it.... if I could do 'something' with them.. the hole bothered me at first.. but then.. The mounting bas.. if framed.. coud be darker in greens or blues underneath.. and then it would not be visible.. I would not be bothered by it and integrate it in the works.. wanted to play with it.. so one day, I grabbed
my oils.. and played.. surprised me, that this idyllic scene popped out of my mind.. enjoyed the colors
.. lotus .. waterplants.. and light through the whole little image.. l0 inch diameter.. dragonflies came
in mind.. and frogs.. when I looked at it.. no need to paint those.. so many artists already did.. so I
leave it up to you.. to see them with your 'eye'.. in the color, form or shape.. you wish.. fly over this
pond.. the lillies.. through the greens.. perch on a blossom hover above the water... there you go.. I
am too.... ;-) This piece can be framed.. mounted in back garden.. any place.. clock? not me.. but .. up
to the collector..
