Artwork Description:
My wife and I were out on one of our Sunday morning painting sessions and came across this old, half dead tree in a local park called Seminole Valley. The tree looked like it had stood as a guardian over the park for many years. Due to the park's name, Seminole Valley, it brought to mind the ghost of the Semiole tribe standing guard over their land. The tree was fighting back, sprouting a new branch full of green leaves. Life fights on! So that is what I tried to capture, the cycle of life and death within an "Old Guardian".
