Original oil painting of the heart chakra goddess. Heart chakra or the ‘Anāhata’ chakra is the fourth chakra. Unconditional love is primarily associated with it. The gentle doe is the animal associated with the chakra and green is the primary color of the chakra. In my art, I have represented my heart chakra goddessas a nursing mother... sustaining life and loving unconditionally. Also she is nurturing various birds and animals around her. Everything about her signifies love. A story associated with this chakra- lord Hanuman was once asked to show his devotion to Sri Ram. He tore open his heart to show Sri Ram and Ma Sita’s images in his heart. This symbolizes undying devotion and loyalty, both qualities of an active heart chakra.
