Artwork Description:

This painting is based on a photograph that was taken in 2004. The sea and sky have been radically altered to reflect the power and displacement of water by a very large yacht travelling at speed. The shape of the bow wave and the shape of the clouds have been painted to complement each other. The sea has been created using both brush and knife to produce a gentle impasto effect to highlight the broken surface of the water. This painting is now in New York care of Artisan Direct Ltd, 82 Callingham Road, Pittsford, NY.
