This sizable collection of 11 gouache paintings was inspired by a beauty of dilapidating cityscape. Once man-made and artificial, it deteriorates in time and gains some spiritual buildup becoming part of nature. I’ve always been fascinated by this transfiguration. I created it some time ago and then, as it happens, got fascinated by something else and forgot about it completely before accidentally running into it, waiting to be rediscovered.
