Artwork Description:

This small painting 35X45 cm. belongs to the NO1S series. I started the series in 2005, probably and unconsciously after being � inspired by Martin Kippenberger. From one of his series of paintings " Dear Painter, paint me " from 1981, where he arranged different artists to do paintings for this series. So I felt like I should try to do different paintings, to try � different approaches and at the end to be able to jump over my own � shadow. The idea behind works like a journal, where at least once a week I do a painting with a different technic, subject or studies from a bigger painting using always the same mass to related to each other. All these 35X45 paintings are at the end to put together to create a big Mosaic.
