July 28,2013. .... I admired the beauty of this Cacti.. colors soft and cool.. clear in cariations.. and texture wonderful smooth.. enjoy discovering design on 'leaves'.. in their 'own hues'.. some purple 'tinges'.. and blue tones.. as well as pinks.. peach.. sensual forms.. and figures.. the thorns are very sharp.. strong.. and beautiful in color... and ohh the shadows so stark and deep, between early and late noon.... took a series. of about 20 pictures .. Temps turned very hot and humid.. I would have stayed at least an other hour.. capturing pictures from all angles .. but temps drained my energy.
